On NFLN and local. For some annoying reason, NFLN has decided to not air the first hour. Such is life.
Anyway, on to the football. The third preseason game is considered the closest to a real regular season game of the four, and for this the Bears get the difficult test of facing the defending champion Seahawks on the road.
This should be a good test of where our team is at on both sides of the football. I'd like to see our LB group continue to build up some confidence, and a good pass rush against the shifty Russell Wilson would be nice to see as well.
If the offense can move the ball on Seattle's defense, then we know they should be in fine shape heading into the year. It will be interesting to see if new addition Santonio Holmes has anything left in the tank.
Hopefully the person returning punts and kickoffs tonight can be not terrible, unlike the recently departed Eric Weems.
Of course, the most important thing I want to see tonight is NO INJURIES.
Should be a good one.
