PRO CAREER: Rookie season was cut short after being placed on injured reserve during training camp with a foot injury… Played in 2 preseason games as a reserve registering 6 tackles.
CAREER TRANSACTIONS: Entered NFL as a third-round selection (73rd overall) by Chicago in the 2006 NFL Draft… Signed 4-year contract with Bears (7/6/06). SIGNED through 2009
PERSONAL NOTES: Attended Lake Dallas (Texas) H.S. playing football for coach Ty Mayfield… Totaled 79 tackles, 9.5 sacks, 10 forced fumbles and 4 fumble recoveries in 7 games as a senior helping to land him on the Houston Chronicle's Top 100 list and Dallas Morning News' Top 100… Started at both defensive tackle and offensive guard in his final 3 high school seasons… Qualified for state as a power-lifter with his best lift being 1,555 pounds… Son of Dennis and Sandra Dvoracek.
