| One of Chicago's team leaders on special teams and a reliable reserve safety who has played 30 games over the last two seasons while capably filling in as a starter in 12. Ranks second among current Bears DBs with 106 tackles over the last two campaigns, trailing only Charles Tillman (148). His 26 special teams tackles since 2004 rank third among current Bears behind Adrian Peterson (46) and Brendon Ayanbadejo (28). Started 10 games in 2004 for injured Mike Brown at FS and finished with 72 tackles to rank among the top-10 on the team and top-5 in the secondary. Sustained broken jaw during Bears 2003 preseason opener, missing his rookie season after being placed on injured reserve. |
