2002: Participated in 9 of Chicago's final 10 games as a rookie, performing on special teams and as an extra lineman in some goal-line situations. Inactive for Games 1-6.
COLLEGE: Finished career as a first-team All-American and consensus first-team All-SEC at Ole Miss (1997-2001), starting all but 6 games played during his 5-year career. Did not allow a sack while starting every game at LT as a junior and senior for team that led the SEC in fewest sacks allowed each season. Started 11 games at LT as a senior . Garnered first-team All-SEC recognition as a junior while starting 12 games at LT on O-line that led the SEC (tied for 3rd in NCAA) with 7 sacks allowed. Played primarily at LG during his first 2 years. Earned second-team All-America honors while playing all 12 games his redshirt sophomore season, making 5 starts at LG including Independence Bowl. Received a medical redshirt in 1998 after suffering a season-ending left ankle injury in his third start of the season. Named Mississippi's No. 1 prospect on The Clarion-Ledger Top-10 Most Wanted list and selected to the All-America teams of several recruiting publications. Ranked as the No. 1 prep O-lineman coming out of the Southeast Region by Prep Star. Two-way star had 104 tackles and 7 sacks as a junior defensive tackle.
