He never lived up to being selected no.8 overall in the 2001 NFL Draft. Terrell has terrific size and ability but could never take that potential to the field at the professional level. While he'll never be considered as a speed receiver, he's above average in that area and he also has decent hands.
The negatives are well documented. He's not a great route runner, has concentration lapses, and has had off the field issues which shows that he has a lack of discipline. Terrell has too much upside to pass up but he hasn't shown that he can be a starter at this point of his career. Bringing him off of the bench where he has to earn his playing time is the smartest move by a potential suitor. |
