Bear Report Audio: CB Zack Bowman

The Chicago Bears are bruised and battered in the secondary, forcing the team to elevate rookie Zack Bowman to the active roster this week. Bear Report caught up with Bowman in the locker room before practice Wednesday at Halas Hall, and subscribers can listen to that exclusive audio feature right here.

John Crist: I was at training camp. You were at training camp. Truth be told, you had a pretty good training camp down in Bourbonnias. Were you surprised at all when the coaching staff told you that you weren't going to be on the 53-man roster when the season starts?

Zack Bowman: It's all a business decision. They talked to me about it and stuff like that. But I understood and also understand my role on the team. I just came back to practice squad and worked on some things and also get better, and then just wait on my chance to get brought back up.
