Top Receiver on Bears' Radar
John Crist has talked to many of the prospects at the Combine, and one of the premier receivers revealed that the Bears are showing quite a bit of interest in him. Muhsin Muhammad is a memory and Bernard Berrian could also be gone soon, so Jerry Angelo simply has to draft at least one wideout this April. Bears All Over Fullback Prospect
John Crist has been talking to a lot of people all week long in Indianapolis, and he's come across one particular prospect at fullback that the Bears are raving about thus far. Jason McKie is firmly entrenched as the starter in Chicago, but Lousaka Polite is far from guaranteed a roster spot at this point. To read the rest of JC's scoop at the Combine, Click Here.
Monday Combine Recap: Rising and Falling
Chris Steuber, Scout.com's NFL Draft Analyst, puts together another list of players who are both rising up and tumbling down draft boards across the NFL. Two premier defensive ends were sensational during workouts, but two highly-rated outside linebackers didn't do very much to help themselves. To read Steuber's assessment of the situation, Click Here.
Junior Tailbacks Put On a Show
Rob Rang, Senior Draft Analyst for NFLDraftScout.com, was awfully impressed with what he saw from the junior running backs Sunday, namely Darren McFadden and that scorching 4.27 in the 40-yard dash. Some of the receivers also helped themselves, although none of the quarterbacks truly looks like a can't-miss prospect. To read Rang's scouting report from the Combine, Click Here.
From Inside the Dome
Ed Thompson, Scout.com's Senior NFL Analyst, was one of the lucky members of the Pro Football Writers of America invited to watch Sunday's workouts inside the RCA Dome. Clark Agrees to 2-Year Extension
Greg Olsen is the future at the tight end position in Chicago, but Desmond Clark continues to be a solid contributor in the passing game.
