Rookie defensive end Dan Bazuin has been slowed by a knee injury ever since mini camp at Halas Hall in May, but he's feeling better these days and will give it a go in Monday night's preseason game against the defending champion Indianapolis Colts. Bazuin visited with BearReport.com after Thursday morning's training camp practice, and subscribers can listen to that interview right here.

John Crist: You missed a lot of time in training camp because of the knee injury. Once you got back on the practice field, how behind did you feel and do you think you've caught up yet?

Dan Bazuin: Well, it's a steep learning curve for me right now, but I'm learning fast. As far as the defense is concerned, I've learned most of the defense just through classroom work and meetings and that sort of thing. It's just getting my body physically ready, doing the right technique things here on the field that I need to worry about.
