Per the Chicago Bears:
The National Football League informed the Chicago Bears that fullback Obafemi Ayanbadejo has been suspended without pay for the team’s first four regular-season games of 2007 for violating the NFL Policy on Anabolic Steroids and Related Substances.
Ayanbadejo’s suspension begins on Saturday, September 1. He is eligible to return to the Bears’ active roster on Monday, October 1 following the team’s September 30 game against the Detroit Lions.
Ayanbadejo is eligible to participate in all preseason practices and games.
