BearReport Audio: S Adam Archuleta

Archuleta will start at strong safety this year

The Bears missed out on Adam Archuleta in free agency before the 2006 season, but they were able to land him a year later in a trade with the Redskins. The hard-hitting safety struggled in Washington, but he's feeling comfortable back in the Cover 2 scheme. Archuleta visited with after Tuesday evening's training camp practice, and subscribers can listen to that interview right here.

John Crist: You've admitted that you were a little lost last season in Washington. Do you feel like you have to prove yourself all over again here in Chicago?

Adam Archuleta: You always gotta prove youself. You always gotta have the mentality to stay in the NFL and stay at the top of your game. Definitely, I'm looking for a big rebound season after what I went through last year. But my motivation is really just to get all I can out of myself.
