Cornerback Ricky Manning Jr. found a home last year in the nickel package, although he was in the starting lineup as mini camp commenced on Friday at Halas Hall with Charles Tillman still recovering from an offseason back procedure. Manning spent some time with after Friday's mini camp practice at Halas Hall, and subscribers can listen to that interview right here.

John Crist: This will be your second season with the Bears. How much more comfortable are you now than you were a year ago?

Ricky Manning Jr.: Right now, it's not fresh. Of course, I'm a little more comfortable than last year. But just starting out first day, gotta get back in the rhythm of things. Get back to my leverage. Getting back to the techniques that we worked on all last year. So I'm in a little more of a comfort zone, but there's still work to be done.
