Per the Chicago Bears:
The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms with left guard Ruben Brown to a one-year contract and defensive tackle Anthony Adams to a four-year contract today. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Brown made his ninth Pro Bowl appearance and first as a Bear following the 2006 season. The veteran of 12 NFL seasons entered the league as a first-round draft pick (14th overall) of the Buffalo Bills in 1995. He signed with the Bears as a free agent in April of 2004 and has started 37 games at left guard through three seasons in Chicago.
Adams was a second-round draft pick (57th overall) of the San Francisco 49ers in the 2003 NFL Draft. The Penn State product collected 155 tackles including six sacks in 58 games played, with 34 starts, in four seasons with the 49ers.
