Turner: 'So much of sports is confidence'

The Monsters of the Midway will always be known as a defensive football team, but they're currently averaging 33 points per game so far in two postseason games. Offensive coordinator Ron Turner certainly deserves some of the credit. Turner spoke to the media at Halas Hall on Thursday, and Bear Report was there to hear what he had to say.

Coming into the 2006 season, the time was way overdue for the Bears offense to start shouldering some of the load. The defense was already arguably the best in the league led by reigning Defensive Player of the Year Brian Urlacher. Special teams was also a team strength, and the addition of rookie return man Devin Hester added a degree of explosiveness to go along with fantastic coverage units...
