Reese Hoping for a Larger Role
A hamstring injury in training camp kept Reese from being the opening day starter and left the door open for Joe Odom. A foot injury later sidelined Reese for three weeks, during which Hunter Hillenmeyer emerged as the starter on the strong side. "Every time I came back from an injury I feel like I've got to learn it again, get in the flow again because it's not like I'm an experienced player," Reese said. "Any time you're injured and come back, you don't have that spot, you feel like if you would have not gotten injured you would have developed more, been a better player."
