Earlier this week, the Chicago Bears ruled out LB Lance Briggs (shoulder) and QB Jay Cutler (ankle). On today’s official injury report, the team also ruled out defensive tackles Stephen Paea and Jeremiah Ratliff. Landen Cohen should start in Paea’s place, with Corey Wootton likely sliding back inside.
Safety Craig Steltz (concussion) practiced on a limited basis today and is questionable. Probable are CB Iaiah Frey (hand), LS Patrick Mannelly (calf), DE Shea McClellin (hamstring) and T Jordan Mills (quadriceps). All practiced fully today and are expected to play.
For the Rams, G Harvey Dahl (knee) and QB Brady Quinn (hip) have been ruled out. Doubtful is starting cornerback Cortland Finnegan (eye), who did not practice today. Trumaine Johnson, the team’s nickelback, may shift outside, or the team may turn to rookie Brandon McGee to replace Finnegan.
Probable for the Rams are RB Chase Reynolds (knee), S Darian Stewart (foot) and S Matt Giordano (thigh), all of whom practiced in full today.
