Stephen Paea inactive against the Saints

The Chicago Bears and New Orleans Saints have announced their inactive lists. Bears starting defensive tackle Stephen Paea will not play due to a turf toe injury.

The Chicago Bears have announced the following inactive players for today's contest against the New Orleans Saints:

CB C.J. Wilson
S Anthony Walters
G James Brown
T Jonathan Scott
TE Steve Maneri
DT Stephen Paea
DE Cornelius Washington

Paea sits for the first time this season due to a turf toe injury he suffered in last week's contest. Landen Cohen will start in his place, alongside Nate Collins. Undrafted free agent Zach Minter is active for the first time this year.

Maneri, a healthy scratch, is inactive for the first time this season. Expect the Bears to use T Eben Britton as the extra edge blocker on offense. Washington was active and played four snaps last week but obviously, the Bears weren't impressed. He's inactive again, with David Bass active for the first time. Coach Marc Trestman hinted this week that Bass might take snaps inside at defensive tackle. To fill the void at DT, Corey Wootton and Julius Peppers will also likely see plenty of snaps on the interior.

The Saints inactives:

WR Lance Moore
RB Mark Ingram
S Roman Harper
DT Brodrick Bunkley
DE Tyrunn Walker
CB Rod Sweeting
T Terron Armstead
