Bears-Lions Inactive Lists

The Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions have released their respective lists of inactive players. View below.

The Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions have announced their inactive players for today's contest.

For the Bears:

WR Marquess Wilson
WR Joe Anderson
CB Sherrick McManis
G James Brown
OTJonathan Scott
DE David Bass
DT Zach Minter

With Anderson sitting, RB Michael Ford will be active for the first time this year and will take Anderson's role on special teams.

The biggest surprise here is Minter, who was expected to be active for the first time this year following Henry Melton's ACL tear. Yet the team chose to go with veteran Landon Cohen, who was signed just a few days ago.

That says a lot about Minter's development in the eyes of the coaches.

For the Lions:

WR Patrick Edwards
WR Nate Burleson
T Jason Fox
RB Mikel Leshoure
C Leroy Harris
QB Kellen Moore
DT D'Anthony Smith

With both Burleson and Edwards out, the Bears should expect to see a lot of RB Reggie Bush in the slot.
