The Chicago Bears have signed tight end Kyle Adams and waived offensive tackle Jonathan Scott.

LAKE FOREST, IL – The Chicago Bears signed TE Kyle Adams and terminated the contract of vested veteran Jonathan Scott.

Adams has appeared in 23 games with two starts over two seasons (2011-12) with the Bears recording four receptions for 40 yards with one special teams tackle.

During his six-year career with Detroit (2007-08), Buffalo (2009), Pittsburgh (2010-11) and Chicago (2012), Scott started 35-of-70 games played. Last season with the Bears, Scott appeared in 12 games with seven starts (five at right tackle and two as a sixth-eligible lineman).
